Hi, I’m Sam!

My story begins like many stories do - just a girl, trying to survive and do so by sharing the things she loves. Yoga, Reiki, Candles, Flowers - they’re all things that either bring me joy or changed my life and I felt compelled to share them with the world.

Yoga and Reiki met me when I needed help feeling safe and secure in my body and within the world. By 2016, I had broken 3/4 limbs - including shattering my ankle, and had a distrusting relationship with my body.

I wandered my way into a yoga studio desperate for help, and found solace and contentment. I made lasting connections with my body and my mind that propelled me forward onto a path of community care. Reiki met me within a workshop at a yoga studio, and I became a practitioner in 2018 and a Master in 2021.

I’ve been teaching Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin yoga classes ever since. In 2023 I began leading 35 hour Yin Yoga Teacher trainings, heavily steeped in Traditional Chinese Medicine knowledge I’ve gathered over years of study and working in an acupuncture clinic. Helping students connect to their bodies through stillness, breath, and theory has become the most wonderful thing I do with my time.

Candles and Flowers opened up a way for me to share the non-negotiable things I need inside my living space to create joy and inspiration. Sharing bouquets and container candles has been a beautiful way to tap into creativity, inspiration, and bliss.

Bloom with Sam became my “brand” in 2018 because I loved how the saying “bloom where you are planted” worked for just about any situation one can meet. I've adorned myself in florals for as long as I’ve been getting tattooed, about 12 years, and so the only logical final (maybe?!) step in my entrepreneurial endeavors was to build bouquets.
